The difference between advertising and the price you pay for a product or service

Advertising is one way your gaining revenue, the other your loosing revenue and gaining nothing in return because your paying for a product or service if your paying for an ad or doing it your self you make more money than you loose.

It's the nature of the appeal to the consumer.

Advertising is emotional in nature, sales promotion on the other hand are unemotional in their approach.
