    Desiree's Baby, publish in 1893, a story written by Kate Chopin. The main character is Desiree who was abandoned by her parents and adopted by Monsieur and Madame Valmondé. This short story is regarding the marriage of different racial types, Desiree is married to Armand Creole who has a well respected and wealthy family. It is believed that she has a blood of African as when they had a baby, it has African color. This plot is considered to be a complication.
