2-Read this description of the bird in the poem "The Raven." But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door - Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door - Perched, and sat, and nothing more. What is the most likely reason the poet repeats the word "perched," and how does this repetition contribute to the mood?

The reason may be to show the reader that this is important and to give the word an emphasis. It also gives the reader a feeling of someone being watched just 'perching above my chamber door".
