Should the story of lazarus and the rich man make us uncomfortable? Why or why not?

The story of Lazarus and the rich man should not make us uncomfortable in fact, it should open our eyes to the truth that has been taught to us by the prophet, the value of good deeds in the world of the living. The story should touch our hearts and teach us to choose eternal happiness rather than material things because these possessions are not the measure for an eternal good life. The good deeds are the true measure and essence of everlasting happiness in the life after death.
