A gerund is a noun made from a verb. In this case, 'jog' would be the original verb and jogging is the gerund. This appears in predicate nominative. It is not the subject of the sentence which is the guy who likes jogging. Everything else in the sentence functions as the predicate. Predicate nominatives usually appear as lists (jogging, thing, and thing).
