    I believe the answers about the first person narrative which are true are:

    1) the narrator can be a witness or a reteller of events.

    2) the narrator is the character in the story.

    This means that the narrator can only know what that particular person knows, he is not omnipresent so he cannot know the thoughts of other characters but himself.
