From the epic of gilgamesh, how would you describe the afterlife depicted in Enkidu's dream.

    Enkidu told Gilgamesh that in his dreams he felt that he was all alone in a plain and was captured by a man with the face of lion and eagles talons. Although he fought hard but was overpowered and made into a birdlike creature. After that he was dragged to the underworld where he saw kings and queens eating dirt and all were in feathers. Queen Ereshkigal ruled and Belit-Seri k was kneeling before her. Enkidu suffered for 12 long days before death came to him.
