    This excerpt doesn't contain enough 'drawn-out sentences' to attract the eye of the reader. I feel like you would be correct to assume that 'A. Repetition of words' is the right answer. The text repeats 'frightened, horribly frightened' and the word 'graves' to give a ghoulish sense of rhythm.
