An effective claim of why should school start later?

Many kids suffer from sleep deprivation

Many adolescents suffer from sleep deprivation, a later start would mean more time to sleep therefore increasing concentration and by extension, the child's grades.

Also why does it matter what time it starts as long as they get the 7 and a half hours at school that they normally would?
