Why have there been few opportunities to study the arctic wolf?

There is little interest in learning about the animal because they are not endangered. Arctic wolves are difficult to locate. The natural habitat of the arctic wolf is inhospitable and dangerous, making it difficult for scientists to study the species. Arctic wolves do not really exist.
