    I am not completely sure, but I believe the answer is D) a desire to live in the future.

    A is certainly not correct, because the author wants to live in harmony with computers, so there is not mistrust.

    B could be correct, but it is too strong, he isn't obsessed with technology, he just likes it and wants to be surrounded by it.

    C is also incorrect, because there is no mention of religion in the poem.
