    It means that you are basically doing something without knowing the outcome of your actions (cause and affect)

    Cutting your nose off to spite your face is saying. It means doing something that doesn't make sense because and is detrimental to itself. Since the nose is part of the face it does no good for the face to cut itself. Doing something because your mad that only hurts yourself
