Which of the following is NOT an example of dialect? A. "Scout yonder's been readin' ever since she was born, and she ain't even started to school yet. You look right puny for goin' on seven." B. Anyone who plans to take over for Coach Karl will have one tough act to follow. Coach Karl is such a great coach that he would never pass the buck or even try to steal the show from anyone. C. I never shall furgit that night when father hitched up / Dobbin, / And all us youngsters clambered in an' down the road / went bobbin' / To school where we wuz kep' at work in every kind o' / weather, / But where that night a spellin' bee wuz callin' us / together. D.
