In mary shelley's frankenstein, why does the creature embark on a quest for revenge against dr. frankenstein?

    He was left by dr. frankenstein was he was made alive again and left to fight for his own life when he really wasn't bad. He saved a girl from drowning. He wanted revenge because he was left. Hope this made sense : D
