What is the "beast from air"? how is it appropriate that the boys mistake it for a beast-what connection does it have with the novel‟s themes, and what does it symbolize?

    The beast from air is an imaginary beast from the novel "Lord of the Flies". It is a manifestation from the fear of the boys. This started when Samneric found a body of the dead pilot. Even though Simon was doubtful of the existence of the beast, others dismissed his thought.
