I believe the answer is: B. integrating whites and African Americans.

Martin Luther King was known for his lead in civil right movement, in which he advocated for non-violent protest to eliminate racial discrimination in united States and integration of all races.

Malcolm X lead a separation movement because he believe that it's the only way to achieve true freedom.

The answer is b. Martin Luther, Jr. believed in non-violent protest to promote the Civil Rights movement. Malcom X on the hand called for armed conflict against whites in America. King wanted whites and blacks to get along and treat each other as equals. Malcom X had a more antagonistic view of whites and encouraged violence against them. Still both men tried to do their best for the improvement of the lives of African Americans. At the time both stood up against segregation and the violence brought about by racism. Sadly both were killed in the fight for equality.
