What did Jackie Robinson feel needed to be done to ensure that African Americans would be granted the same rights as people of other races? African Americans should resort to violence to bring about change. African Americans should do as the president suggested and "wait for the hearts of men to change." African Americans should continue to aggressively pursue the rights that other Americans enjoyed. The president should make a statement and follow it with action demonstrating equality for all people.
