Read the following passage from a myth. Odysseus was alone, lost, and close to despair. There was nothing to be seen on the horizon. Odysseus-the great and experienced warrior, hero of battles, and slayer of terrible monsters-could see nothing but small rolling waves. The vast ocean, in every direction, seemed to go on forever before finally meeting the horizon. Which detail from the story most directly shows the values of the people who told it?

"Odysseus the great and experienced warrior, hero of battles, and slayer of terrible monsters" does, because it shows that the values of Homer's, or "the people who told it's" have to do with battle
