What is one idea about people and guilt that you think the tell tale heart expresses? Why?

The Telltale Heart shows the guilt that us humans have after committing an immoral act or deed. It shows that people are actually vulnerable to these immoral acts and that they are not comfortable to commit, therefore the body's natural reaction after such an act has been committed.
