    Based on what you read in this lesson, what type of humorous device does Pope use in The R*pe of the Lock? He uses burlesque to poke fun at the legal discrimination against Catholics of the time with a silly event which was cutting of a lock of hair of the girlfriend of a man both of whom were Catholics and the resulting feud between their families.
