During the medieval era, individuals who attempted to rise socially-whether through marriage or employment-were often regarded with suspicion. In what ways does Dioneo's "Tenth Story" reveal evidence of these social class suspicions? Is social class a problem in Dioneo's "Tenth Story" and how is it addressed in general?

The "Tenth Story" revolves around a man in name of Gualteri who became Marquis of Saluzzo. His people were worried about the state because he was not married and spent his time hunting. He told the villagers that he is going to marry only if they allow him to marry the woman he wanted, Griselda. Gualteri did things to Griselda that hurt her such as letting a maid take their child to be given to a kinsman, etc. This shows the social class suspicions.
