Jean jacques Rousseau thought that the natural goodness of a man can be nurtured and maintained only according to this highly prescriptive model of education and he highly steemed the "natural man" as uncorrupted by modern society. It is comparable to the thought of William Wordsworth by stating that Nature leads to the love of man. He states that the influence of nature on the mind and the personality of man is very important regarding formative, restorative, reassuring, moral and spiritual influence.
