Select the number of the punctuation error in the following sentence Everyone-1aside from mom and dad2 always looked at me strangely because of my scars; 3 you'd think they'd never seen anything like it before4 or that it would somehow rub off on them ... 1. 2. 3. 4.

    The correct answers are number 1, number 2, and number 3. Number 1 should be a comma. Add a comma on number 2 as well and in number 3, add a period. So the sentence will have to be like this: Everyone, aside from mom and dad always looked at me strangely because of my scars. You'd think they'd never seen anything like it before or that it would somehow rub off on them.

    1 and 2 require commas. It then becomes an apposition that explains the subject "everyone" better. Three should be a dot with a capital letter on Y while 4 should be a comma as well to separate clauses.
