As I was nearing the end of my trip to the village where my grandfather grew up, I reflected on all that I had seen. The conditions that he had lived in as a youth were so harsh compared to conditions of my own upbringing. Which sentence, if added, would make the best revision of the conclusion? I visited the one-room school house where my grandfather had been educated with the other children in his village. There was no grocery store within a hundred miles, so my grandfather and his family had to grow their own food in a garden. Knowing my grandfather's heritage made me realize how fortunate I am. For this year's summer vacation, I decided to visit the land where my grandfather was born and raised.
