    It is persuasive due to that it raises morality, and that it is a figure of speech. He dreamed about it (just not literally) and it gives you courage to stand up for equality, and justice. It gives you a goal that may seem like a dream, but it took willpower and strength to do it. Dreams can't come true without those two things. That's why I think (Just my opinion) about how it was so powerful and persuasive to fight the almost impossible fight.
