Why does the author compare newspaper readers to ripe corn? Ripe corn is ready. Newspaper readers will be ready for life after they read the newspaper. The corn is nutritious and the newspaper contains a lot of information. Ripe corn is ready to be picked and eaten. The newspaper readers will be detached from life. The newspaper readers will be satisfied after reading, just as ripe corn is done growing.

    Because ripe corn is just right and if you read the newspaper the author says you'll be just right in the day
