Calling someone a 'multiplied cockroach' has a severely negative connotation. Not only is someone as gross, intrusive, unwanted, and creepy as a cockroach is, but they are multiplied which means they represent more than one cockroach. Imagining a dozen cockroaches is even grosser and worse than just one.
