What is the best city for opportunity and drama, and why? (this is an opinionated question)

Well it depends on where you are really. the north has New York the East coast has Nashville, the south well the south doesn't have a lot of drama but its the best opportunity for some of the best food, and the west the farthest I've gone is Las Vegas but that was stupid expensive even without gambling.
