H. G Wells War of the worlds Why aren't people afraid of the Martians when they first see them? A. The Martians move very sluggishly and can't seem to get out of the pit. B. All the Martians in the first cylinder are dead after their landing. C. The Martians signal that they have come in the spirit of friendship. D. The Martians are very small and look harmless and cute.

    From the H. G Wells War of the worlds, the reason why aren't people afraid of the Martians when they first see them is that A. The Martians move very sluggishly and can't seem to get out of the pit. It would be the first optiom because people will see them very slow and that their saliva dropping on the floor and they think that just like humans, martials can kill people also.
