This question is about the story Around the World in 80 days where its main character is Phileas Fogg.

The conversation between Phileas Fogg and the train station landlord happened in Chapter 10 of the book.

It was during dinner time and the landlord recommended a dish of a native rabbit. However, Mr. Fogg did not find the dish delicious so he called the landlord and clarified if indeed the dish is made of rabbit and if it mewed when it was caught in the jungle.

The landlord tried to assure the authenticity of the dish but Mr. Fogg cut short his explanation and continued his dinner.
