What is the main idea of Gulliver's statement?

    I would say that Gulliver promoted the idea that we should try to get along regardless of our differences and our ability to vanquish others. Gulliver could have squashed the Lilliputins but instead he won their trust and became their companion thus providing companionship for him. When their neighbors attempted to attack the Lilliputins he insisted that they resolve their differences. That allowed their children who were secretly seeing one another to be together.
