Does the behavior of grendel's mother seem as wicked or unreasonable as grendel's behavior?

Grendel's mother's conduct appears very reasonable for the reason that she only slaughtered in order to avenge the death of her son, on the other hand Grendel slaughtered because he was a very jealous and lonely person. Grendel’s Mother is not as wicked as Grendel is.
