Ne Eyre was orphaned as a child. What do you think is the psychological effect? How would Jane's life have been different if she had grown up with a father and mother? Why do you think this is so?

This would create a drastic change in the story line if she wasn't orphaned as a child. The outside oppression such as Mrs. Reed wouldn't have been in Janes life. She probably would have been grown up in love, and therefore her personality would've been different. She never would've met her love Mr. Rochester, and in the end she would've had a very different life. Most likely being married to another man if at all.
