Plays are a script, mostly lines meant to be "Played" and most of the time don't explain in detail as much as prose texts, and are not written in the same fashion. Prose texts on the other hand, are written in paragraphs instead of lines, and are more detailed when it comes to characters, story, and uses a different form of writing so the reader can understand the surrounding of the story.
