Comparison and Contrast

Caroline and Catherine were two incredibly similar and yet two different people. They were identical twins, therefore both presenting with beautiful blonde hair and striking blue eyes, yet Caroline had a distinguishing birth mark on her right hand while Catherine had a single freckle on her left hand. Both Caroline and Catherine excelled in language arts yet Catherine struggled in their shared math class while Caroline was always the first to raise her hand. The twins were both incredibly close to their tight knit friend group, however Caroline was much more introverted and would often become ill from the anxiety of going out each night, unlike Catherine. The twins both grew to become frustrated with the constant comparisons they faced which was likely to be followed by criticism as how one should be like the other. Even with the harsh downfalls of being identical twins, the sisters ended up moving to Maine together when they went off to the same university in a small town, shocking several of their family members.
