The principal has the authority to take away a cell phone; students who repeatedly use a cell phone may be suspended. What is the school's position on cell phone use? Using cell phones during school hours is not allowed. There is no punishment for using cell phones while on campus. Using cell phones during school hours is okay. Using cell phones in the principal's office is okay.
