What we read, see, listen to, experience and absorb becomes part of our character. As we take in new perspectives through art, film, music, traveling, reading etc, an innate reaction to new things causes us to both physically and psychologically react, this is related to a biological sense of reacting to situations as a method of survival, and naturally form our identity as our opinions and ideas are formed creatively and intellectually, shaping how we see the world and our place in it.
