Mark: I deserve a raise!

Boss: Why do you deserve a raise?

Mark: Both Rachel and Soledad make three dollars more an hour than I do, so I should make the same as they do.

Boss: Both Rachel and Soledad have worked here longer than you and always receive top evaluations.

Mark: Well, then I deserve a raise because I have a wife and two children at home, one of whom has a very expensive medical condition.

Boss: No.

Even though his boss refused to give him a raise, Mark's argument is a solid example of a logical and well-supported argument.

Right. Because Mark is well supporting his reason for the raise. May not be correct but is giving reasoning. It’s unfair because his coworkers get paid more plus he has a family with extra needs.

That is a true statement but some evidence should be added to Marks argument
