What is a reason why speaking your thoughts can be better than writing hem

I find that speaking your thoughts can be better than writing them, simply because you're able to add meaning with your body language and you have a better opportunity to explain yourself, it's not the same when it comes to writing down your thoughts. Basically speaking your mind in conversations you don't have to always give reasons for any of your statements, some will get the idea as to what you said and why and others won't put you in a position to question your reasoning.

The purpose of all language is to communicate - that is, to move thoughts or information from one person to another person.
