What are 2 reasons that Odysseus chooses to go on Scylla's side of the strait?

    1. He needs to pass the strait to go home (Ithaca).

    2. Circe advises Odysseus to pass by Scylla, because it is slightly less dangerous than Charybdis. Charybdis would kill all his men, whereas Scylla would kill at most six men.
