In the inferno Dante the fictional character often expresses pity for the people who are forced to suffer in Hell. Does this suggest that Dante the author disagrees with the Christian god's policy sending people to Hell?

    I mean its a yes in no question if he beleives that by other people hurting others than yes, he should agree but if he just putting people in there just to be then that is really cruel and harsh.
