Can somebody paraphrase this for me?

Lung cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the lungs. Your lungs are two spongy organs in your chest that take in oxygen when you inhale and release carbon dioxide when you exhale.

    Lungs are prone to a type of cancer called lung cancer. Think of your lungs as sponges but instead of taking in water, they are taking in carbon dioxide when you breathe in.
