Why do some people check in using GPS?

A. to follow people they want to have as friends

B. to express themselves through the places they go

C. to device authorities about their location

D. to limit the people who know where they are

It could really be a b or c. a - a sane person probably wouldn't do this but who knows? b-i guess some social media freaks could use a gps to collect everywhere they pass/stop in a roadtrip that they night have forgotten. c. Undercover cops may use gps to to track a fugitive or any criminal really.
