As the story open Abboud Bey is smoking a cigarette. He offers one to Samia's father as well. He is there to meet Samia and make arrangements to marry her.

Samia's father is a clerk. In the story it says, "Mr. Mahmoud Barakat, a mere clerk at the Court of Appeal." Later, Abboud Bey tells Samia to lie and say that he's a judge so as to have higher social standing.

How does samia first indicate to her husband that she has found the ring?

    B. she raises her hand to show it to him

She struggles to find the words so in the end, she just shows him the ring because she can't decide what to tell him.

Whom are you going to the park with? The way to figure this out is to answer the question. Would you say I'm going to the park with "he" or "him"? Him would be correct so you use him. If he was correct, you'd use who.

True The sensory description is the juice dripping. You can feel the juice dripping. Touch/feel is a sense.
