Parson feels that it is a good thing that he is in a prison because he did a bad things, he believed in the party and he accepted that he is guilty. His own daughter reported about his crime and instead of being angry with his daughter he was proud that his daughter did a right thing. He is a different person, if someones daughter complained about his crimes, he must be angry but Parson was not.
