What were Beowulf's thoughts when he first encounters Grendel?

    Basically whenever he first saw grundle he could tell that it was murder and foresight he also begin to get scared the grundle was going to continue to kill because he could tell by the look in his eyes that Grendel was a full-blown murderer

    He thought that Grendel would come back and kill more.
