Read the passage. School spirit seems to be a thing of the past. Only about 100 students attended the last pep rally for our sports teams. Attendance at school events in general is down 22 percent from last year. Perhaps worst of all, the number of after-school clubs has dropped from an even dozen to 6 because of lack of student participation. Which strategy does the writer use to elaborate on the main argument?
