Think about the causes of the Civil War what kind of freedom is being born? what kind of freedom is dying?

The Civil War started because the northerners wanted to abolish slavery but the southerners wanted to keep it. Freedom was for the first time being born for the slaves, they could have an income, have jobs, own houses and so forth. But with no more slavery, a lot of plantations would wither up and die as they had little to no people to tend to them. The whole business of slave auctions shut down and thousands were out of jobs.
