What is Cervantes' attitude toward Don Quixote? Does he seem to think that Don Quixote is a complete fool, or is there some admiration and respect in his tone

    Cervantes wrote the novel Don Quixote. It seems that Cervantes didn't have much respect for Don Quixote as a person seeming to make him out to be a fool. The description of how Don Quixote looked didn't add to making him less foolish. He seemed to view him as an old man with not a lot going for him. Cervantes overall tone was not one of admiration or of respect of the character Don Quixote.
