The correct answer is 6. The resolution of the story occurs when the wolf falls down the chimney into the boiling water.

The resolution of a story is the end of the story. All of the problems have been resolved. The only possible answer that sees an end to the problem (the wolf) is when the wolf falls into the boiling water. With the wolf out of the way, the story is over.
